I currently use a Rolls MX51s to mix my video game console and music source together so I can listen to music while I am gaming. I wasn’t sure if this was degrading sound quality in anyway. I usually set my amp (MCTH) to noon on the volume and then control the sources via the volume knobs on the mixer. I’ve thought about replacing my MX51 with a passive mixer that Rolls makes.. not sure if that will make a huge difference or not.
I wasn’t sure if there is a better way to do this or another product. If anyone had experience using a mixer like in the manner I do I’d like to hear from you. I’m open to all ideas.
To give an idea of what my signal chain is I made what I consider the work of art below haha.
Console -> DAC ->
------------------------------> Rolls MX51s ----> MCTH
iPad -> DAC ->
