hey guys, I need an affordable audio interface that has balanced outputs (xlr/trs) for use with the krk rokit g2 series.

it would also be nice if it had an optical input and a headphone output as well.

I'd like to spend around $200 at the most, but the cheaper the better. I just need something to get the job done that isnt huge.

thanks!

hey guy, What is krk rokit g2?

I would recommend the ESI Juli@ or the M-Audio Delta 192 as both have balanced outputs. The Delta 192 has a separate monitor output but you'll have to use a headphone amp for best results.

P.S. See, I've already done more homework than you have.

The heart of any good home recording studio is your choice of audio interface. This piece of equipment handles input and output of audio from your computer; it's a lot more than just a sound card.

That would be a Preamp.
