So, I have been trying to figure out how to get both the music on my pc and the audio from my 360 through a dac without spending very much money. I have already put in my pre-order for the Fiio e10, it looks to be the best bang for your buck when it comes to a desktop dac. I also just installed a sound card that has toslink in for the 360. So, currently I am getting both pc and 360 audio through the analog out on the sound card. However, I am concerned that since the e10 will basically replace the sound card on the pc, that I won't be able to feed the audio in from the sound card through the dac. Anyone know if my setup will work, or has all this been for not?

Thanks ahead of time for any information.

Cheers.

If I am understanding you right, you can set the system to record from the card and playback from the DAC.  You can set that all up between the system audio control panel and the devices control panels.

Good luck.
