And BlockHead definitely gets my vote, also Arcam's calling their top of the line CD players the "Full Metal Jacket" series...

Blockhead is just cool. And you can't go wrong with full metal jacket.

I remember a short lived company called "Icon Audio". Thought that was pretty appropriate for audio gear.

Ok, it isn't audio-related, but a few days ago my friend pointed out to me a machine at the gym with a great name: Butt Blaster. I had to wait a while to finish up the set I was doing because it is hard to lift while laughing. And the posistion that you sit in the thing just finishes the image.

I really think that there needs to be some inventiveness when it comes to names. I guess most companys aren't going for product recognition, but just brand recognition. Most people will just say "oh, I have a Sony cd player, it rocks!" instead of mentioning the model number, and I think that is what Sony and the other big companies want.
