Audio GD Sparrow/FUN VS Zero Earth VS EMU 0404, DAC and headphone output. Any ideas about performance difference? | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

I currently have the 0404, good DAC, good for recording etc, but its headphone amp is underpowered. Any ideas how the sparrow or FUN will perform in comparison to the 0404 and the Earthed ZERO?

The FUN is IMO the obvious top choice.
I haven't heard the Zero so I won't comment on that.

I did own an EMU040USB and to my ears was mediocre at best.
FUN or Sparrow should provide a significant improvement for your needs
