Hi

I had a NFB11 and have a NFB29 (to sell) and a new NFB29.38

For me the NFB29 if far beyond the NFB11 (nothing to compare).

I received my NFB29.28 3 weeks ago and just achieve the burn in.
It is exacly the same as NFB29 with es9018 except the usb Amanero replace the usb32 card (same power supply, same volume control, same output stage).
The burn in has been very very long and i was about to think that i would not get the es9018 SQ; at 50 hours i did still get compessed sound, flat backstage, and very very tiresome whistle trebles (sss..., ffff...., chhhh....), even with slow roll off filter.
It suddenly change around 100 hours and i now get someting better than the NFB29 es9018. I made the burn in with default fast roll off filter for maximum bandwith : No more whistels now, i get a black screen and the sound stage is as deep as my other ES9018 (with linear filter).
Main change is the dac has lost the es9018 golden shining color in the mediums, and this change gives a more natural sound and a huge improvement on timbres quality.
The dynamic is still there, maybe better than on the es9018.
More precise.
The scene is close to ES9018.
