I want to fix a cheap 3.5mm cable. It sounded fine and the metal cased connectors are nice. The main reason I want to save this cable is that the sleeving material is amazing. It's super thick and soft, and almost impossible to kink up. I'm thinking maybe the cable was pulled a little too hard, so if I shorten it by half an inch on either side and make a solid connection, it might work again.

However, inside the metal connectors they were injection molded. So in my removal of the plastic, I cut the wires. Now I have no clue where the cables go, and I also can't find any guides to this type of connector online (I'm very inexperienced, working with my trusty radio shack soldering iron here lol).

Here is some pictures of the connector and the cable: https://imgur.com/a/q8WkR

Thanks in advance for any info you can give me!

One thing I forgot, follow the digram, red to red blue to white and the loose copper wire to black.
