Buying CDs is the best way to get Lossless tracks.
So now I have the tracks backed-up on the CDs, I spent a few days ripping WAVs(& mp3s for my Zen) and then burning them on DVD.
I'm currently encoding the WAVs into FLAC and putting them on my harddrive, my computer takes about 1 minute to convert a WAV-album to FLAC(dBpowerAMPconvertor). If I re-ripped them, even in burst mode, it'd be about 5 minutes per CD.
When I have everything in FLAC I'll copy it to my 160GB external drive, if I have the room. If not I'll copy my favourites. Although another SATA HDD is not that much...
