I've been looking for a CDP and basically narrowed it down to two makes based on some reading (and personal aesthetics). There isn't anywhere near me where I can go do a listening test but they are also not the most common units out there. There have been a few reviews but I thought I would try see if anyone here has any experience with these products.
Does anyone know/heard/has an opinion on:
1) Audio Analogue Paganini 192/24 + ???
2) Bel Canto CD-2 + DAC3 (there are great reviews on this combo but I am hoping for additional Head-Fier experience/opinion)
I thought about a Paganini + DAC3 combo but I think there is more synergy between the Bel Canto combo and AA Paganini + AA Puccini anyways. AA also offers the Primo series (I like it's smaller form factor) but there are no writeups on those and are a lower model than the Paganini.
