Does anyone out there know anything about the Audio Alchemy Headphone Amplifier Version 1.0? It almost looks like a Headroom product.

I had one and it was OK. It had the headroom circuit and it was too noisy for a SS amp. And like every AA product I ever owned, it broke down within a year. When I ditched it for a Melos, I realized just how mediocre it really was. Now that AA is long gone, steer clear!

I've had good luck with their products. I saw this on eBay and was intrigued. Wondered if it might be a relabeled HeadRoom product or something.

I have one and I like it, using mine as my office amp. Mine's not noisy at all. I bought mine from James Serdechny, and it came with the Power Station Two power supply, and I highly recommend you pick one of these up if the one you're shopping doesn't already come with one.

I have a PSII, and it's pretty large. You must have a more spacious office and/or desk than mine.
