Will I notice a great difference between
MacBook Pro Early 2011 > Sennheiser HD 598
and
MacBook Pro Early 2011 > Audinst HUD-MX1 > Sennheiser HD 598
?
The HD598s don't require that much amp, while they do have a impedance bump in the bass area It would be nice if an amp would noticeably improve the sound quality in this area.
MacBook Pro seem to have pretty nice audio for being built-in, from what I've read, which makes me research all of this...
Just thinking if it's worth the 160 dollars the HUD-MX1 cost here (Japan).
