is DARED MP-5 a good companion to AKG 701? how does it compare to total bithead?

i've contact total bithead, they said it's possible to send to australia.

That Dared is pretty rough around the edges without modification. I found it harsh... I would have never guessed it was a tube amp of any sort. It's more multipurpose yes (speaker outputs) but I really don't think it sounds as pleasurable as a Bithead.

I quest my final choice will be total bithead, good sound and good price. Corda aria is another option. consider the price which is twice than total bithead, does it preformace also double compare to total bithead?

I don't think that Rockhopper Millet will solve your DAC problem... unless they made them with DACs? You need a DAC.

I found HEADFIVE by CORDA. it's only an amp. is it a good one to drive K701?


I think for the moment i would buy an amp first, than a DAC. I would use Audigy 2 ZS in the mean time until i could buy other DAC.
