ive been using my HD 415's with my X-fi soundcard without any problems at all, and on my other computer, my Audigy 2 zs has no problems running my AD700/Z-5500's.
But with my HD 415's no sound is coming out from the right side of the headphone, its very puzzling, ive tried everything x.x, and i dont think doing a fresh driver install will solve it due to my AD700's working without a hitch.

it works the same in all players? In control panel>audio options are the left and right channel balanced?

I have the exact same problem and it's driving me nuts. I tried different headsets but none work - plugging in speakers works fine on all channels. I even reformatted and reinstalled windows and the latest drivers - no such luck.

I need the headphones to work for online games and teamspeak, and with only one ear working it's harder to play.

but another headset worked? because I have two new headsets here, and for neither the right channel works

Did you try an mp3 player? it might be your speaker settings.

I gave the computer with the audigy Away, i now have an X-fi card.
