Tested on my Audigy 2 Standard using RMAA, and a Radio Shack shielded 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable.
Played and recorded in 48kHz mode to avoid resampling. "Record without monitoring" option enabled in the Audigy control panel.

Comparison:
Audigy 2 Standard 16bit 44.1kHz
Audigy 2 Standard 16bit 48kHz
