It sometimes happens when I’m using BT. I’ll start a video and right before the audio starts, it’ll pop. Same thing when I stop audio. I haven’t been able to replicate it on a regular basis. Doesn’t happen often.I've tried keeping up with the thread in recent months, noticing a lot of people having issues with sidetone (not a factor for me), but has anyone been getting audio pops?
It's happened with my set only a handful of times, and I can't replicate it, but the left side very occasionally has a random pop.
Mostly used connected through the dongle, don't listen at particularly HIGH levels I wouldn't say, if that made a difference. Anyone else have this occasionally?

Does sidetone issue appears only with dongle connection or also with BT to Phone connection?
To me all sounds OK with Bluetooth to Phone connection with sidetone on to 100% (boommic attached).
Xbox version.

I just wanted to give an update on the new WC headband.
So after using the new headband for over a day, I decided to put the old ones back on. The WC headband is made out of "harder" and "stiffer" material so it actually is less comfortable then the default ones which are softer. I didn't think this would be and issue but as it turns out, it is. This is probably affected by my short hair, so if you have thick hair on top, it might be less of an issue.
I would describe the WC headband as being hard plastic. Its less elastics and bendable and the surface is just harder when pressing down my fingers on it. While the original ones are softer, more towards a rubber feeling.
I will try bending and "rolling" the new one and see if it gets any softer.

I've tried Wicked Cushions on 3 different headphones to this point, and I disliked all of them. Each time, I found them less comfortable than stock and felt they changed the sound in a negative way. They also aren't cheap.
I think WC are super overrated, but to each their own.

I'm personally still hoping someone comes out with replacements for the earpads and strap made out of real leather, just for the sake of longevity. I hate how protein leather always inevitably flakes

This is not actually an Audeze support forum, so I would not expect @Audeze to respond to questions here. They might respond, but it isn't a guarantee. Some mnufacturers and vendors are more engaged on Head-fi, but that is on a case by case basis.@Audeze please, many of us are waiting after 2 months for the update to fix LDAC with custom EQ.
And more being a function that has worked until the last update.
We would appreciate an update on this.
Reaching out directly to a vendor's support portal / email is the right way. They may not be any more responsive...

Thank you for responding! I am doubly impressed since I had noted that you were under no compunction to do so!!We are working on providing a new firmware as soon as we are able.
Got these arriving tomorrow, considering doing a review comparing their sound to PX8, Airpods Max and that class of BT headphone. Wish I still had Bathys on hand to compare too.
I'm interested to see if they're a catch all solution that could be an on the go BT headphone along with for gaming and home use. From what I've read i think they might be a big contender for those who don't mind losing ANC. Although they might be a tad big for outdoor use? I can't quite tell

Currently I can only make some testy with bluetooth connection to my android phone.
What I've noticed is:
- mic quality is the same on boom mic and internal mic,
- I can't mute the mic, I switch mute on but Mic still works, I can record the sound
- mic suppression doesn't work at all, mic pick up every arounding sounds during recording (it pick up everything as strong as sidetone set on max)

When you click the front button, do you hear noise suppression on ? Even with it set to on, it is picking up all the noise ? Check if the mic source is the headset or android phones mic. Noise suppression is in hardware and once enabled should work on both boom and embedded mics.Currently I can only make some testy with bluetooth connection to my android phone.

All is OK, I didn't even know that it is possible to use phone's mic even when connected through BT to the headphones.
I switched to audeze's mic, all works correctly
Thank you @Audeze

Let us know when you try to stretch them a bit if the feel improves from your initial impressions.I just wanted to give an update on the new WC headband.

I wanted to buy the headband in red camo but it's going to be more uncomfortable than the original...
Thank you.
I can't understand purchasing the WC headband for anything other than cosmetic reasons.
The Maxwell is not a headphone like the X2HR where there's a ton of room between the suspension headband and the outer headband. That one is elastic, and it works because there's room for it to give.
If the Maxwell suspension headband had any more give it would be resting on the top pad.

I do find the WC pads a bit uncomfortable but the stock pad's depth is a little bit lacking and it annoys me more that ears touch the inner parts of the cup vs the discomfort of the WC pads.
