Some tips for Boom Mic static noise.

When attaching Boom Mic to the headset, you may notice repetitive static noise sounds like "tac tac tac …" in the background. The noise level isn’t very high but can still be heard when sidetone is at maximum volume, or through device input when Noise Suppression is Off.

This noise can be lowered or even eliminated by,
  1. Holding the metal stretching arm of the Boom Mic by hand, or
  2. Wire that stretching arm with the metal headphone chassis.
You may found paper tape and aluminum foil very useful! :)
So the microphone has a grounding issue? Well that sucks.

I had the same issue with Mobius and it turned out to be me not using grounded plug with my PC. Apartment didin't had that as it was from 1970... Maybe, just maybe it's not issue with headphone but with something else unless you are using wireless then render me stupid XD

Yes, the static noise was noticed when using Maxwell wirelessly with Boom Mic attached.

Tips for iPhone and USB Dongle.

Saw related discussion suggesting using Apple Camera Adapter. I found other solutions that could reduce adapter space.

I’m using an adapter made for digital headphones and it works.

However, this solution only works for headphone part (audio output), microphone and media control won’t function.

A workaround for answering incoming calls is to connect Maxwell with iPhone through both USB Dongle and bluetooth.

Then the boom mic may be acting as an antenna for some periodic signal around you, do you notice this phenomenon everywhere or just in a specific room ?
Everywhere. Even when the volume of the side tone is low. I've also seen multiple users report this on reddit, so I don't think it's only me. Not a huge deal as I don't usually use sidetone. Hopefully Audeze can do some filtering preprocessing or something.
