Hello everyone ,
I've been having a strange problem lately.
The headset loses connection to the USB dongle several times a day and no longer connects.
And the LED on the headset flashes blue.
If I then connect via USB cable and turn the headset off and turn it on again, it works again via dongle.
But there are always disconnections.

Software V 3.1.109
Headset V1.0.1.63
Dongel V 1.0.1.63
The dongle itself is on the USB-C mainboard and it's not a meter away from me.
I'm a bit at a loss as to what it could be. Is it possible that the dongle is the problem?

Thanks again for the help
I had the same happening before I returned mine. all at 063 latest firmware.
It only happened once a day. I had to replug the dongle and turn on the maxwell after that

Try all your usb ports, and use the included USB A adapter. USB A ports are more stable than type C ports. And yes, ports can make a difference so test all of them as some may be more stable than others.

Otherwise, please email support@audeze.com for direct assistance.

I got a pair of the Elitet sheepskin Dekoni Earpads for the Audeze Maxwell to test out free of charge thanks to a YouTuber who goes by BassDad. Thank you for sending them out! I reviewed the Audeze Maxwell, and think they are an incredible value. They are my favorite headphones that do come with some minor flaws most of which are related to the comfort and weight of the headphones. The stock earpads are poor in my view. I own a pair of Maxwells, and I frequently use them when I game with friends on my PC.

The Audeze Maxwell Sheepskin earpads are a very nice product. They are extremely comfortable and feel plush and premium. The stock pads are thinner, these feel like you are walking into a luxury car and help the feel of the headphone on my head. Not only is the leather very plush and clean-looking. The earpads look fantastic with no issues with the stitching. The earpads have memory foam inside of them that springs back into place providing excellent comfort, and are one of the most comfortable earpads that I have got to use.

They have a few flaws, one being that the earpads are extremely difficult to install. Yet having installed other earpads they are also difficult to install, generally but even with my experience in pad installation this install job was a challenge. The frame at the bass of the earpads while light and durable, they are easy to bend which increased install time for me from about two minutes to about twenty. So the bass of the earpads could be slightly thicker and durable.

The sonic change is minor and almost unnoticeable. The bass response feels more dynamic, slammier, and punchier if I had to describe it in audiophile terms. Yet the difference between earpads is difficult to A/B due to memory and the challenge of installation of the earpads and auditory memory is short. The feeling of what is in my ears is almost more important to me than the sound coming out. These add great value for me as the cost isn’t too much to justify for a product that i really enjoy. The Maxwells are going for about 240 now B stock or used, so 80 dollars on earpads is a bit of an expense. It’s a luxury item, that for me is worth it, but for others, it may not be. I find these a good pairing, as it increases the comfort as they are the most plush, and clean feeling on my ears.

The best thing that I can say is that these earpads are my earpads of choice for the Audeze Maxwell, the earpads help make great headphones feel more premium, and classy, and I get that wonderful feeling of an Audeze sound headphones with the Dekoni earpads at a reasonable price. Truly a great combo, thanks for sending them out.

I got these pads for my birthday and completely agree. I was worried about the heat given I have always defaulted to velour / mesh in the past but have not had any real issues with breathability. They get warm sure, but not noticeably different to past pads like the DT770's I've used previously. And at least these feel like I can clean them down properly if it's a really warm day.

The biggest comfort change for me though alongside these is the aftermarket headband I got that is intended for the Audeze LCD. Went from a constant hotspot on the top of my head to barely noticing the weight of them. It's very dependant on the size and shape of your head though, YMMV.

One issue I'm having at the minute is software based, I feel like it's a 50/50 every time I open Audeze HQ whether it'll recognise and have my headset active or if it shows as not on / 0%. Not the end of the world having to unplug and replug the dongle (which I have in the mini extender to improve range) but is there a way to make it consistently work?

Got this refurb for 175. The audio quality for the price is insane, these could be in the same conversation of something like an Elegia or Azurys, but then they're wireless, bluetooth, have onboard eq and a boom mic.

Seriously why did Audeze decide to go so hard with these it's crazy lol

Bargain cans sound better, mind sharing where you nabbed them from?

Best I could find is hifiheadphones @ £249

They should be the goto first headphone in the 200 region with current prices imo. They're perfect for a beginner as they have the built in DAC and amp, plus EQ and wireless. And they sound as good as any closed back for 300. Crazy talk.
