Guys. I’ve sent my mx4s for repair due the a 2-3db channel imbalance. I just received the return notice from FedEx but no feedback from Audeze regarding the finding and what repairs have been carried out. What’s your take on that? I don’t think this is acceptable for 3k headphones.

Usually it takes 1-2 weeks to process them. You can email support and they will respond with details. They will also provide a frequency response graph of the fixed drivers on request.
So far radio silence after a couple of emails. Basically the headphones are on their way back to me and I have no idea what they have done.

I don’t know that. All I know is that the headphones are on their way back to me. Maybe they didn’t do anything.
Contact us at support@audeze.com so we can see what was/wasn't done. If you have a support ticket open, even better. Reply back to that so we can see the history on this issue.

Headphones well received and they work fine. So, thank you very much @Audeze The only thing I don't like is the new pads. As part of the repair they replaced my pads for some very soft kind of pads which are not memory foam. The problem is that with these pads my ears are touching the magnets which is a big issue for me. Audeze will be sending a new sets of pads and I am waiting to see if the issue will improve. is there any way to buy the exact same pads I had before?

Audeze no longer sells the older, firmer pads.

You may need to go with 3rd party like Dekoni for firmer pads.

Have anyone tried these of a Bottlehead S.E.X.? I`m looking in to these headphones, but I`m a bit worried the low impedance and high sensitivity may be a bad match for my amp.

I have the audiovalve RKV HAA which is transomerless and wouldn’t recommend these headphones with these type of amplifiers. You should be looking on something with low output impedance
