What do you enjoy most. And why?
I have a Lavricables Master Silver on order. I have the Lavricables Grand on my HE1000se’s and I like how transparent it is. You can read some of my thought on the Lavricables Master on my HE1000se’s here. After my experience with it, I just stuck with the same brand.

Good God... The Hugo 2 with the 4z is just excellent, never have I heard so much detail without any fatigue of listening. Resolution is top notch too.
Insane....
I guess the weakness in my system is a cable... I wonder if a good cable would increase performance by 5%?

Brilliant pairing aren't they? ;)

Yes perfect, I wish for a slightly more Midbass hit... But it's an awesome super detailed sound
Amazing to get this much detail and clarity without sharpness and fatigue.... That's what I paid for...

The LCD-4z measure dead flat and a "Midbass hit" would be an obvious colouration...something Chord's products try to minimize. :)

Congrats on a killer duo!

H2 can drive the 4z fine without an additional amp.

Anyone with Hugo 2 and 4z...what amp did you add to Hugo 2 for more musicality, yet kept all the awesome qualities of H2?

I agree with @Mediahound. You don't really need an external amp with the Hugo 2. It's brilliant with the 4z's.

Yes yes I know, I just want an amp to color make it a more musical listen yet keep the H2 detail, resolution and clarity.
Its not a need, it's a preference I'd like based on the files I have ect.
So really just asking what is a musical amp I could add is all
Not power suggestions

On that note, I have my H2 hooked up to the Liquid Platinum hybrid tube amp. The stock tubes are bad, but I have a set different tubes on order that should improve the sound. I'm still experimenting with the LP since I literally just got it yesterday. It's definitely has a warm and musical character to its sound.

Awesome, I hope you enjoy it. I was also looking at that.
Does it hinder the H2 detail /resolution /clarity (you know... The works). at all?

There's no denying that the LP completely lowers all of those traits of the H2. Tube amps will do that to any DAC though. So that was expected. The stock tubes are also playing a good part is lowering those sound qualities as well.

Damn. Maybe Hugo tt2 might be necessary
What are you planning on driving outside of the 4z’s? The TT2 is a big step up over the H2 but may not be a necessity.

Nothing.
4z is my love, after all this time.
Just looking for Hugo's (the works) but with more musicality, more fun.
I do miss the rme bass for example and a slightly more laid back feel. Hugo is definitely aggressive (but not bright) with its gobbs of detail and speed...
I'm just not used to it yet.
I basically want the Hugo 2 sound just slightly more laid back. More musical than surgical.
With that said... It's strange the Hugo 2 is not bright or hash or sterile to me at all...
