Just wanted to let those looking for the KSC75s know.., SDC.CA has them for $20.49 CDN (+tax + shipping). They also ship to the US for an additional $40 to cover customs charges (though, what's the point? The customs alone is double the cost of the cans!):

Pretty good, considering neither BestBuy, FutureShop, or many (if not all) 2001 Audio/Video stores carries them!

If anybody knows where I can get 'em cheaper, let me know! I'm a bargain-hunter!

SDC is in Markham, so maybe I'll try to pick them up when I'm near.

shipping from SDC is about $10, and NCIX about $12(to Ontario). paying half the value of the product for shipping isn't really tempting...

I'm pretty sure you can go to their Markham location at 151 Esna Park Drive and pick them up, avoiding the shipping cost. I'm going to call them sometime this week to see if this is the case.

Not only is this sighting a very good price, but the only sighting I've seen for the KSC-75 in Toronto so far (although granted I really wasn't looking for them before headfi!!

Update to my fellow Canucks!: Just talked to Customer Support specialist Bill over at SDC and let me know a few details of their KSC75s.

There is currently no stock. They are considered "special order" items in that their supplier doesn't send them any unless there are orders (eg volume requests) from resellers like SDC. Since Bill has talked to them on Monday, it will take 2-3 weeks to receive them, so a little patience is necessary.

Sorry to those who have placed orders (Bill told me there were like 5 orders placed as of mid-day Monday), you will be receiving your headphones later than hoped for!

Cost for shipping is $9, with a grand total of $31.03 if you live in Ontario. Guess a call to their Customer Support line wouldn't be a bad idea considering availability is now a primary issue.

Interesting but cool!: Canadian Tire has the KTX1PROs for something ridiculous like $9.99!!! Their product SKU is 44-1080-8. You should call ahead and tell them to check their inventory before you go because the one I went to at St. Clair/Keele had none and they should be available at month's end (just before Hallowe'en). Their home on the wall was totally empty!!!

I just tried to get a quote from that bmtnet.com site and they seem to have the KSC75 listed for $17 picked up or $18 for purchase online, but when I tried to get a final quote it just said "thanks for your order" without giving any quote for shipping. it didn't even add the item to the order form, and it also didn't even ask for any method of payment.

getting final quotes without entering any real info pays off again. what a poor excuse for a business.

Are you using Firefox to browse? Using Firefox, when adding the KSC75s to an order, then continuing to checkout, all items (item cost, tax, total) all come back $0.00. Opening the page where the KSC75s are listed in IE yields better results when you process the order. The prices magically appear!

I am using Firefox...what kinda web business assumes everyone has IE?

I don't even have IE installed and I think I'd rather wait until I see them from someone a little more reputable.

Please tell those poor fellas on that Canadian board not to hold their collective breaths! If not, I will smell a lynch mob approaching!

Is this SDC.ca reliable and secure? I don't know if I want to give out my CC number to them if they're not secure...
