For my HD3, i want to convert some of my tracks to 256kb ATRAC format. But how is that possible, i dont have them on CD so i cant rip them to ATRAC format, and they are currently in MP3 format 48kbs is the only conversion possible through sonicstage.

Is there any way to convert them from MP3 format to 256kbs ATRAC format, using any plugin/program?

thanks

yeah... well, IMO those DSP (virtual surround or whatever) aren't worth the tradeoff in sound quality you get from transcoding to atrac, but... to each his own!

SS can convert them to other formats also: tools -> options -> transfer -> transfer mode -> choose your device, click set transfer mode. Or left click your file and choose convert format.
