Head-Fi'ers --
I am hooked on the Stax Omega II/KGSS combination...
Is there anyone from Atlanta, GA who owns the above?
If so, what source (preferably digital) do you pair with it?
I am looking to audition the following sources with the above:
Realistically, I want to purchase a source for around $2000 used.
(Obviously that excludes some of these, but I am assessing house sound)
Modwrighted Sony 999ES (Platinum Signature)
Cary 306 SACD, 303/300, or 306/200
Linn Ikemi, Genki, or Karik/Numerik
Meridian 508.24, 588, GO7, or G08
I am selling my system at the moment to fund one of these sources.
Then next summer, I will be working to buy the Stax Omega II/KGSS.
I know what I want, so I am going to save now and be done with it!
Is there anyone out there who will host such an obnoxious Head-Fi'er?
I attend Emory University, so proximity to that locale is ideal for me!
