I've been looking at these two specific replacement earpads, and I was wondering what the main differences between the two were? Do they differently affect the sound quality? Or are they marginally similar? Much appreciated if anyone knows.

bump. Does anyone have an idea at all? I ended up getting the SRH840 earpads, although, I'm still  really curious about whether the velour earpads are a better option or not, as I can still easily get a refund on these shure earpads.
