I had the m50s for around 3-4 years and recently they broke, I would like a replacement with a maximum budget in the 200$ area, although I would prefer to buy something near 150$.
I would like something similar to m50s, so over ear and closed back, with decent isolation and comfortable for long wear. I listen to all kinds of music recently I've listened to electro music and pop more, like alan walker dj snake and similar generes not sure what it is exactly.

You can get the new M-50x for that price:

https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR86/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1471889557&sr=8-1&keywords=ath-m50x

Depending on if you have an amplifier, you can also get the DT770 80 Ohm for $10 more:

https://www.amazon.com/beyerdynamic-DT-770-Pro-ohm/dp/B0016MNAAI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1471889588&sr=8-1&keywords=dt770

Yes but I was thinking more for an upgrade and the ath m50x are pretty much the same thing only with a slightly better build and detachable cable, and I don't have an amp and I probably won't use one, is there no other option in this price range ?

If you're planning on buying new only and not used, there are very few headphones that are considered an upgrade to the ATH-M50(X) in the $200 and under price bracket. Of course, personal sound signature preferences play a big part in what a person considers an "upgrade"; were there aspects of the M50's sound that you disliked? What did you like about the M50's sound? That would greatly help the people giving recommendations to you.
