I would like to see you guys do a comparison of the ATH M-50 and Shure SRH840 with respect to portability and noise isolation/leakage. I've also got a fairly large head and am curious to know how comfortable they would be. I have not been able to find the two headphones for a direct comparison as no dealers are nearby me. Also does the ATH-M50 tend to have kind of overwhelming bass?

The ATH-M50 fold up nicer than the SRH840 so that makes them a tad more portable and durable.
 
According to the charts the ATH-M50 wins out for isolation as well:

Would the shures be fine if I were to say listen at medium volume in a library? Also would they block out noise during a car/bus ride?
