Can some one give me a step by step video or pictures of how to mod the ath m50s to have a detachable cable? Or even just give me step by step worded directions

I'm planning on doing it on mine, ill try to take some step by step pictures/instructions for you but it will likely be sometime late June before I get around to it.
If you do some searches you can get an idea of what is involved. Opening them is easy (3 screws each side). Get a nice low profile female plug socket and drop it in. A bit of soldering and you done. You'll also need a male to male 3.5 cable in the end to attach to your source and headphones.
