Hey guys I own some Esw9s and I absolutely love em. I was just curious on how these rank against the "popular" bose and beats headphones. Im asking b/c ive never actually really heard bose or beats. I took the advise on here to avoid those. What do u guys think?

You could always go to an electronics store and compare them. They are so mainstream that nearly every electronics store has a sample display available for you to compare them with.

bose doesn't sound bad.. just overpriced for the sound quality, while Beats is just crap... regardless of the price...
 
ESW9 is very colored... it has very heavy Audio Technica taste... if they fit you then don't worry about how they compare to the others, unless you are looking for an upgrade, but Bose and Beats are definately out of question if you are already at ESW9.
