I'm looking for something to replace my iGrados (cable busted) and I'm considering the following:

Sennheiser HD25
Audio Technica ES7
Ultrasone HFI-15G

I know they're all different sounding but since I haven't heared these patricular cans and got access to all three pairs at a very nice price I need to chose among them.

They will be mostly used with my iRiver Clix2.
The music I listen to varies a lot. Anything from classical, jazz etc all the way to very heavy stuff with lots of bass.

That's why I'm looking for most balanced headphones with more open sound.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

senn hd 25 1 they are sensitive , very punchy bass but balanced with rest of the spectrum , one of the best isolation/comfort, indestructible, soundstage is not big but its far from being an issue.

The Sennheiser's come down to whether you need isolation, they definitely are also very balanced and don't exaggerate non of the frequency ranges, electronic music - ASOT may sound a little lacking in bass, but hey you will be able to hear every small thing going on in the background,I would recommend an amp as it just brings out additional detail in them.
Having said that, they are not hard to drive.

Thanks for the advice.
I ended up buying both ES7 and HD25

I love both tbh. The isolation that HD25 provide is just insane.
But then again the sound from ES7 is so much fun
And by god, why do ATH headphones always need such a long burn-in time? =)
