So I just purchased the successor to these earbuds, the CM700ti's, and I'm wondering: does the sound benefit more from putting on the foam pads, or just doing without them?

I'm burning them in right now so I can't say for sure which one sounded better, but pre-burn in I'd probably give the advantage to padded.

I use foamies for 2 reason's.

1. Snugg fit.
2. I can hear more bass.

I can't even get the right one into my ear with or without foamies. It just keeps falling out. I guess I must have really small canals. Unless I am doing something wrong.

i've noticed that AT buds tend to sound thin without the foam covers on. i have the ec700ti and i can't listen to them without the foam covers.

How do these compare to the CM7ti's?
