I bought a set of Audio-technica ATH-ANC23 noise-cancellation in-ear phones, which arrived today. Now I must say I am very confused, especially after reading some very favourable reviews on the internet, The thing is, that they seem to absolutely nothing. I have tried them with some classical music and running water as ambient noise and I simply can't hear any mentionable difference between having the noise-canvellation on or off. Could anyone help me to clarify what is wrong? I never thought they would cancel all background noise, but surely I should notice some difference? Can it depend on the ear plugs or have I simply been fooled by someone? The red light is burning, so something is OK.
