ATH-AD900X are only 38 ohms?

No higher ohm doesn't mean better. The impedance of a headphone usually depends on how many coils and the thickness of coil
in the transducer.

Why are the ATH-AD900X only 38 ohms when the ATH-AD700X's are 250 ohms?
Is a higher ohms better?
The ATH-AD700X are not 250-Ohm,
Both the AD900X and AD700X are 38-Ohms.

As said, impedance has no effect on quality. For example, the HD650 is 300 ohms and the Audeze LCD2 is about 70 ohms and better than the HD650 in just about every way
