Is it safe to order an ATH-AD1000X from eBay? Anyone had experience ordering one from eBay? Are there fake headphone for this model?
 
The Local price here in Singapore is SGD $598 but the price on eBay shipping from japan including shipping price is around SGD $420.

I think it would be fairly safe to order directly from Japan.
(I've ordered JVC twice from Japan, no problems).
Fake stuff usually comes out of China.
Does Singapore has any import taxes?

I ordered my AD1000x from ebay from this seller, no issues. Really doubt there are fakes.

Singapore have a tax of 7% on product that cost over 400 SGD. 
 
Edit: Found out Amazon jp doesn't ship internationally on electronic devices but Amazon US does. Which one will be better and safer? eBay or Amazon?

When i order from Japan, i usually use eBay.
