i think one of those will be my next 'phone purchase. but which one would suit me? the majority of my music is very female vocal-driven and a lot of acoustic, softish rock (thrown in with a lot of Japanese Pop). i know the A900 is closed and AD9 is open. what do you guys think? thanks.

I don't know about the AD9, but the A900 supposedly has a recessed midrange.
