Has anyone tried and/or had any success with modding/recabling the A900? These have been my favorite home sealed cans for a while, and still do use them quite a lot when isolation is needed. I still think they're great for that purpose, but I've always found the mids to be somewhat lacking/recessed. Any thoughts on recabling ideas aimed specifically at improving midrange performance?

Why don't you try the bluetak mod instead? That's supposed to help with the midrange.

Tighter bass, fuller and upfront mids, detailed highs. I am really want to hear from someone else about this mod. and comparision with LTD's.

What advantage would making an A900 or an A900LTD balanced?

Anyone here heard a balanced A900? or A900LTD?
