Hey everyone,

Thought I'd share a brief prelude to a comparsion between these two headphones. Please bear in mind, this is what I hear and my opinions .

I'm running a Linn Genki with a Signal Group Power 2 cord, Transparent Power Isolater XL and Totem Acoustic interconnects to a Micro Zotl amo with Ken Rad VT-231 and Sylvania 12AT7WA grey plate 3 mica.

Listened to Norah Jones "Feeln' The Same Way" and Garth Brooks, "Lost in You"

The Beyer's tended to have a more even and balanced soundstage. Deep bass and good detail I would characterize the sound as warm.
The AT's tended to focus a bit more on the vocals, bringing them out. I noticed detail more. Example the clapping and tapping of the guitar in "Lost in You" was more "real" It wasn't that it wasn't there with the Beyer's, but it was more noticable with the AT's. Soundstage was bigger and sense of space a little better.

Hopefully I'll have a more detailed comparison later

Mahalo,
Bryan
