Does anyone make an adapter that will enable any 3.5 plug work with the iphone? I used to not care about this but my company just told me they wanna buy me an iphone in February. I currently use custom IEMs.

Yeah, just do a search for iPhone headphone adapter or something like that. The one listed on the Apple website costs 10 bucks and sticks out 2 inches though...

But if many of these adapters lose choice Microphone.
A quick solution is to amend the cable with Sennheiser CX300

Has anyone heard these yet? I'd be interested to know where their SQ falls in line with etymotics other offerings.

i'm just guessing based on the tech specs that they're nearer to the er4p than the er4s. same frequency response as the er4p, though a tad bit more sensitive and lower impedance. we'll have to listen to find out, though...i, too, am interested in these vs. the UE offering...or i might just get my er6i modded.

The etymotics for the iphone are pretty good. The foam tips they ship with are horrible, so I purchased the ComplyFoam ones off of their website and they totally seal out outside noise. I would just like them to emphasize the lows a little more...but thats just me.
