Three-Two Asynchronous 96kHz/24bit USB to Headphone DAC

I searched google for "asynchronous usb audio" and came up with this. Has anyone tried this out? The price seems very reasonable.

Is Asynchronous mode with the 1020B chip noticeably better sounding that a PCM2706/7 in adaptive mode?

it doesn't seem to have any line-outs, just a 1/8 headphone out and a USB in; software-controlled volume, an adjustable digital filter, bus-powered.

no clutter on the panels or the on the board...interesting concept.

I think I'm going to give a it a try in a couple weeks. I want to see if asynchronous USB lives up to its expectations.

Great! Give us some impressions. I'll add it to the 'All the DACs pt. 2' thread. It looks like it'll be the 2nd out of 142 DACs to use Burr-Brown PCM1792, the other being the $2,500 Bel Canto Dac3.
