Hi guys
Anyone heard the Asus Xonar D1? I am using the AKG K 701 headphones and I was supposed to get the Xonar ST. But it is somewhat expensive and I hear complaints of fatigue etc. I have been going through som fatiguing with the K701 since the day I got them, and they dont like bright electronics.
The Xonar D1 is based on the same DAC as the Creative Elite Pro. Has anyone heard the D1 vs the ST/STX? Has anyone tried amping headphones directly from the 3,5mm jack out on the D1?
The D1 seems like alot better value and just a tad less 'details'. As it is lower end, it will probably be less critical to source etc?
Any thoughts??
