I just replaced my Asus Xonar DS (LME49720NA Op-amp) with the Xonar DX.
(installed Asus drivers first, then the UNi Xonar 1793 drivers)
Using my Audio Technica ATH-AD700 headphones, the Dolby has add to the sound of music and videos.
Things sound more real, even while watching an old movies, like "The Keep" from 1983.
I'll update more after doing a lot more listening.

As I've removed the Xonar DS, It will be hard to do a direct comparision.
From what I've heard DTS is more popular in Europe and Dolby is more used in the U.S.A.
My music does sound better (fuller) from when the DS was installed.
