i want to replace my onboard realtek 892 to external usb dac/amp.. currently i have two choices which are asus u7 and fiio e10k.. specifically, they are both under 100$ price mark..
 
the only thing i need to know, which is the better output for sound quality? i can't test the devices, so i need to ask here.. thanks!

The U7 is good for people that want surround sound for gaming and movies. For music listening, the E10K is the better choice, IMO

Is this audio setup mostly for music or gaming or movies?
i would assume the E10K provides a better DAC and amplifier feature, then the U7, but the U7 comes with Dolby Headphone surround sound, the E10K is basic stereo audio.
