Hi And thanks for reading this post.
I picked up an asus stx II 7.1 soundcard with daughter board a few weeks ago and have been fiddling around with the options.
In the main menu there is a slider for directing the centre channel to the left and right speakers, which i like as it gives me a wider soundstage.
Unfortunatly i can only get it to work with 2-channel audio.
I send two channel to the card and use dolby prologic IIx to upmix to 5.1 and the slider appears.
But most of my audio is bluray dts ha ma 7.1 and i can't get the slider to appear with multi-channel.
Is there a fix for this. is it possible to do anything to the card itself. would it be foolish to splice the rca cable of the centre with the left / right channel
