Hi all,

Anybody with the STX II can record a 5-10 second vocal clip via Audacity please? If you do, also specify which microphone is being used. I'd like to know if there's any noticeable background noise before I consider buying, to pair with my AntLion Audio ModMic 4.0

Also, I know the original STX suffered from EMI issues via the mic in, does anybody know if this has been rectified through the design of STX II?

All reviews seemingly skip the microphone in port

From what I've heard, the microphone input has not changed (i.e., designed for nothing more than VoIP or Karaoke).
 
Use your own mic preamp connected to the line input.
