Astell & Kern right for me?

Can you pair the Astell & Kern 120II/240 and get good quality audio with the top-tier headphones? i.e. Audeze 2/3, HD800, PS1000, etc. 
 
I need a reasonably portable solution; is it worth it, or is it just a bad solution in general?
