Did you manage to try the Kann ultras Line or pre out modes with an external amp? And what sort of level of performance would you say it is playing at if it isn’t up to SP3000 standards? SE300? Mojo 2?

Purely on SQ, I'd say it's neck and neck with SE300. SE300 might provide a little more detail, but Ultra sounds fuller and richer.

I used the preamp and line out settings a bit with an iCAN Phantom. We're not Audio Science Review with all the tools to properly measure the differences, but as someone who also does tech support for customers, I appreciate not having to explain "First you need to turn on the "Line Out" option – now you're not actually turning on Line Out, you're just making the option to turn on Line Out visible..."

Please add a "Volume Lock" Function in the App. Especially in USB Mode and sometimes in my Pocket the Volume Wheel is suddenly moving and changes the Volume. Thank you!

I've noticed there is already a Function by clicking the middle Button twice it is locking the Volume

I'm working on a video right now, and I'd say that Expanse and Stealth are going to come down to your listening preferences and genres. If you like to listen to EDM really loud, you're probably going to get some clipping in the bass. If you listen primarily to rock, classic pop, jazz, funk, etc. KANN Ultra + Expanse/Stealth should be perfect. I listened quite a bit with E3 between the written portion and shooting the video. E3 is just a hair more sensitive than Stealth, and my typical listening level was 100-110 on High Gain. I didn't experience any clipping or noticeable distortion at those levels, but slam was very good and it didn't feel congested or as if anything was missing there.
