I saw that these phones are on sale today for $549 at Adorama, regular $1200.

Are they worth it? I searched the forum and found less about them that I though I would (and I do not know a single soul that owns them).

32ohm seems good for my XDP-100.

Not that I need another set of cans, but for more than 1/2 off, it has my interest.......

yeah, same thought here.
Could not find much information about it, however, the advantage of it is it is like
T1 2nd gen, its cable can be detached, and it comes with a 2.5mm balanced cable.
SQ wise, needs others to contribute their impression, especially comparison with
T1 2nd. Gen.
Any one?

I would be curious to know too since it's such a killer deal. I did read something on this forum saying the AKT1P sounds less detail than T1.2 I am thinking there's got to be some difference especially going from 600ohm to 32 ohm.
