While we are on the topic of the A&K Kann, can someone comment whether the PEQ function is system wide and is active with streaming apps such as Amazon Music and Apple Music?

For those SP2000T owners who also own a Mac with Apple silicon (i.e. M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, etc.), are you able to connect your DAP to your Mac via the USB-C port on your Mac?
For the life of me, I cannot make this connection on my original SP2000. I recently upgraded my old iMac 27” late 2015 model to a Mac Studio, which comes with both USB-A and USB-C ports. I can connect using the USB-A ports, without any problem, but cannot connect using the USB-C ports.
I am just wondering if this was fixed in the new A&K models?

I have just received an Anker USB-C to USB-C Thunderbolt 3 cable from Amazon UK (£21.99) and can confirm that it is working with my M1 Mac Mini and SP2000T as USB DAC. However, I find that the SP2000T's status light shows red whatever the playing file's bit rate is. I would have expected it to show green for 24-bit files, as it does when using it as a Roon endpoint. I don't think this is related to the cable, though, as I get the same thing when using other USB-A to USB-C cables with Apple's CCK out of my M1 iPad Pro. If there's a setting on the SP2000T somewhere that I've missed I'd be grateful if someone can help! For those SP2000T owners who also own a Mac with Apple silicon (i.e. M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, etc.), are you able to connect your DAP to your Mac via the USB-C port on your Mac?

May I ask what you mean by Apple’s CCK?I have just received an Anker USB-C to USB-C Thunderbolt 3 cable from Amazon UK (£21.99) and can confirm that it is working with my M1 Mac Mini and SP2000T as USB DAC. M1 connectivity was fixed for the SP2000T. KANN ALPHA and SE180 in the last firmware update a few weeks ago. The M1 fix for SP2000 and other models is coming soon. I don't have a date yet, but did just confirm with the HQ team that it is in the works and coming soon. For those SP2000T owners who also own a Mac with Apple silicon (i.e. M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, etc.), are you able to connect your DAP to your Mac via the USB-C port on your Mac?

Hi all, just picked up an Sp2000t for myself recently. Everything has been pretty spot on, but have been getting a pretty laggy ui, and a colleague of mine who had a go on the player also found his sacd collection off a micro sd card stutters a bit. Has anyone had similar issues or have figured out any fixes? I'm currently running version 1.21CN firmware.
@Chesty The firmware update containing the M1 fix for the SP2000, SP1000, SP1000M, SE200 and SE100 will be released next week, expected on the morning of July 6th Korea time.Oh that's great to hear that a fix is coming. Many thanks for your feedback.

Copper Nickel Edition for USD2700
Hi guys. I'm loving my SP2000T , but I must say the local music library app on the device is a pain. It struggles to pick up my files and folders and I have obver 100 "unknown" albums. For compariosn, the Mango player on my Ibasso Dx160 does a better job at sorting my music.
I just wanted to ask if its possible to install a 3rd party music library type app ( not streaming apps) on the SP2000T and if anyone had some recommendations ?

You might need to add in tags for Album Artists to your files. The default player app allows to sort using Artists or Album Artists.Hi guys.
