Thats plenty of power for most normal headphones. I use my SR15 balanced with my HD 650; and SE with any of my Grados.

PS plus if you read the announcement this has a new high gain mode that can do 6V balanced.

I doubt that it has separate digital inputs like that. It can output digital though.

Generally speaking, to my ears, the Cirrus implementations I have heard are more neutral-sounding. The AKM implementations come across as a tad more lively and brighter-sounding.
