Guys,
 
My friends A&K 100 suddenly stopped up the other night!
He put the unit on to charge the batter up, just in case that was the issue, but it still shows no sign of life!!!
 
Has anyone had issues like this with their unit?
 
Also, looking for someone in the U.K. who might repair A&K stuff if it needs to be looked at. The unit is around 18 months old, so outside the 1 year guarantee (also it was purchased 2nd hand off this site, so no receipt either).

I don't know anything about AK, but did he let the battery fully die? I've had issues in the past where it is difficult to charge once doing that. If the battery is removable, try taking it out... let it stay for a few minutes. Try holding power button down for more than a few seconds? is there a hard reset button? maybe that's an option. These are things I would try with any electronic device... like I said, no experience with AK.

Remove any cards. Press the ^ button on the side, and the power button on top for 7 seconds to reset.
