The other night my Zhaolu D2 went into mute after I powered it on and wouldn't play anything either out of optical or coaxial.

When I power it on I can hear the usual power on sound but then it just goes to mute.

All the LEDs inside are lit except the one on the red board in the center, and nothing looks burnt or leaking. The Pic shows the coax LED lit, the optical off and the mute is actually flashing.

Does anyone have any experience with this problem.

I've included a few shots of the boards in case one of the DIYers sees something.

Thanks for looking.

Nothing looks burnt out from what I see in this picture.

Check if the board is getting power, a super cheap multimeter would suffice and would just be a useful thing to have around the house.

Although something to look for is whether the capacitors are still working because in the 2.5 they put some caps in there that are running really close to or right at their voltage ratings.

You could also try putting in a new LED and seeing if just the LED burnt out because of some sort of surge.

It would be helpful if we could see the back of the red board.

Best of Luck!
