What aspects do I have to consider when buying a headphone? Is it wise to buy one without actually listening to it and touching it before, like online or order?

You can read up reviews and get a general impression of how the headphones might sound, but don't expect to be spot on.

If you read the general guides, there are probably some "safe" choices that you can use.

Don't forget to distinguish between open and closed and also the general sound signature and if they need to plugged into a headphone amp for best results.
